Our definition of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is: the science of structuring web content creation and code to maximize the effectiveness of site positioning in Search Engines. The problem for clients is that being an SEO specialist requires no licensing, no testing, no nothing. Anybody can tell you they're an SEO expert when their background could be candling chicken eggs. Software has been developed to expedite SEO. But major search engines don't want sites to benefit from automated SEO, so they demote listing positions of sites they deem were optimized by automated SEO software. We don't use automation. Our SEO people have skills developed over many years, and they do only SEO. Based upon client feedback about site effectiveness -- and upon random site SEO testing -- they're achieving fine results.
