Here are several Frequently Asked Questions:
There are programs available that let me do my own site using free templates.
Why shouldn't
I just use one of those?
Two major reasons. First, your website should focus on who you are and what you offer; it should be both specific to your business and focused on the needs of your customer base. It must also reflect what differentiates your business. "Free" programs use generalized templates; why should your site look and read just like a competitor's? By contrast, our sites are custom-tailored to your business. We never use templates (except as required in CMS sites).
Second, why waste your valuable time creating a website? You are experts at your business -- we're experts at marketing client businesses through the web. Anyone can create a pretty website. The trick is to create a website that works, and we've been doing that since the web was born. Let us help you!
Why should we use Websites That Work?
We're a seasoned marketing company. We do our homework, quickly learning what your customers seek -- and we know how to orient your site to get their attention and sell the sizzle of what differentiates you and what you can do for them. Combine that with rapid turnaround -- usually about three weeks (versus six months for many run-of-the-mill web design companies) -- and we're the most logical, effective choice for your business.
What does it cost?
Site costs vary depending on your objectives and site complexity. To contain your costs, we always opt for the most effective solution -- which is often not the most expensive. All our sites are custom-crafted to your needs, so it's impossible to estimate costs without knowing needs. That said, everyone at Websites That Work works from home . . . and that lowers our overhead and enables us to deliver sites for less than most other companies. Moreover, we're a marketing company doing marketing-focused, customer-driven sites -- we are not your typical website designers.
Can you [fill in the blank]?
Almost invariably, yes. See our Capabilities but always remember this: if there's something you envision that you want on your site and it's technically feasible and delivers bottom-line benefits to your business, we're up for it.
What's the next step?
Contact us. We can talk by phone (or Skype if you're not in North America). Once we've completed fact-finding, we can prepare a full proposal for you.
What does a proposal cost?
Proposals generally take several days to develop. They reflect our strategy for promoting your business on the web and because of that, they are our copyrighted intellectual property. There is currently no charge for proposals.
